Kristy Rose is a contemporary artist in the greater Chicagoland area. Her primary medium is acrylic paint, and occasionally works in watercolor, gel pen, colored pencil, digital drawings, and mixed media. Kristy's whimsical style uses extreme, vivid colors to create fantasy worlds bustling with heavy machinery, retro characters, suspense, and joyful innocence. 

IT LIVES AGAIN is a project that rescues dusty, damaged paintings of serene scenarios, giving them a new life by cohesively adding monsters. In other words, paintings with a "monster upgrade" by Kristy Rose.
